DIY hairstyles...

i just thought i’d pop on here again, as our page has been looking a bit dusty, due to me and resha neglecting it. But don’t worry we haven’t been treating our hair in the same way! oh no, the hair is still getting all the love it needs, that tlc (tender loving care) x
So, back to why i’m here…
I just wanted to stress the importance of being able to do your own hair, i’m not suggesting that we should neglect hairdressers because there are some great ones out there who know exactly what is best for your hair. But i believe that no one should know your hair better than you! It’s important that you are able to identify what is best for your hair and what makes it grow. For instance, my hair grows considerably when i have it in extensions or when i do it in single twists and leave it for a while. Then as soon as the rain stops (as this is England its not very often), i take out my hair and walk around with my afro. Ahhh, when i have my afro is when i’m happiest - i cannot emphasise that enough. Oh look, here i am deviating from the point of this post again. (sorry)
Okay, to summarise points that were not really said above…
1] love your hair
2] get to know what “food” your hair likes to eat (by this i mean grease etc) (RESHA NOTE: though i dont use grease and im just fine…so…to each their own :))
3] style your hair in ways that you feel confident in, but doesn’t really damage your hair
Lots of love,
